COVID-19 update: Suspension of the obligation to file for insolvency extended until 31.12.2020

Already since 27 March 2020, companies in financial difficulties due to the COVID 19 pandemic are exempted from the obligation to file for insolvency until 30 September 2020 for all insolvency reasons. The German government has now agreed to extend the suspension of insolvency until 31.12.2020.
