Networking, Innovation, and 50 Years of BVMW: TIGGES at the Future Day

.

The BVMW invited guests to the Future Day for SMEs 2025 in Berlin, celebrating among other things the association's 50th anniversary! Representing TIGGES, Micaela Schork, LL.M., and Patrick Jörg Kaatz attended the major networking and innovation event on site. Whether during keynotes by renowned figures from business and politics, expert talks, at the exhibition booths, in table captain sessions, or through speed-dating formats – the Future Day offered a diverse program full of inspiration, innovation, and exciting encounters.

At the Exhibition: A visit to the Polish national stand – naturally a must for us, given our focus on German-Polish legal relations.

Exchange with inspiring companies, startups, and initiatives – such as Mittelstand-Digital, providing valuable insights into AI, IT, and cybersecurity.

A small but memorable personal highlight: the booth of Auerbachs Keller from Leipzig – after all, it's not every day you find yourself suddenly in the midst of Goethe's Faust at an SME fair.

In the Sessions: The event formats were just as varied and inspiring: Mica participated in the networking event "Strong Women – Strong SMEs," while Patrick attended an exciting talk on how augmented reality is increasingly making its way into marketing and meetings – a fascinating perspective beyond classic video calls.

The Reverse Pitch offered a refreshing change of roles: here, medium-sized companies pitched themselves to startups – a wonderful shift in perspective!

We are particularly delighted to now be part of the newly formed Legal Commission of the BVMW – a committee especially close to our hearts as a law firm. A meeting of the commission's attending members took place on site, which we, of course, also joined.

The day came to a close with an evening reception full of engaging conversations.

A big thank you to the BVMW and everyone involved for the excellent organization and the inspiring atmosphere!

Our Conclusion: A thoroughly successful Future Day – we'll definitely be back next year!
