17th European Economic Congress in Katowice/Poland

.

Last week at the 17th European Economic Congress, Katowice once again became the meeting point for business and politics for three days!

Our colleagues Dr. Dominik Wagner, LL.M., EMBA, Tomasz Baron, LL.M., and Kamil Twardowski, LL.M. represented our law firm at the most significant economic event in Central and Eastern Europe, which was attended by around 18,000 guests this year.

A particular highlight was the premiere of the German Lounge, organized by the AHK Polska in cooperation with NRW.Global Business Poland. The lounge offered a valuable framework for discussions, exchange, and new impetus for German-Polish cooperation. The German Lounge was officially opened by Federal Minister Robert Habeck. We are delighted that Dr. Dominik Wagner, LL.M., EMBA participated here as a panelist in an exciting discussion round on the perspectives of Polish companies in North Rhine-Westphalia together with representatives from Bayer, Britenet, and NRW.Global Business.

A heartfelt thank you to the teams from AHK Polska and NRW.Global Business Poland for the great organization – and to all discussion partners for the inspiring exchange!

We look forward to EEC2026.
