At the beginning of March, MedApp S.A., an innovative Polish company from the medtech sector with headquarters in Krakow, founded the subsidiary MedApp Germany GmbH responsible for the expansion in the DACH region from the Düsseldorf location.

The terrible events in the Ukraine horrify us deeply. Out of the feeling of powerless helplessness arises anger at those responsible in Moscow, who by their aggression plunge a sovereign nation into misery and threaten world peace. Our law firm has therefore filed a criminal complaint with the Federal Public Prosecutor General against the President and the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Mr. Putin and Mr. Lavrov, for violation of the Code of Crimes Against International Law and the Charter of the United Nations.

Laude Smart Intermodal SA, one of the market leaders in the Polish intermodal transport market, began its expansion into the German market at the start of the year. The TIGGES Poland competence team provided comprehensive advice and support to the Laude Group during the preparation and implementation of the investment project.

On 31 August 2021, we welcomed Dr Jörg Kukies, a top-class guest from Berlin, to our monthly VC Roundtable Düsseldorf. The State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance answered all questions on the topic of the equity fund for technologies of the future ("Future Fund").

With the help of TIGGES, the care provider PROMEDICA, based in Warsaw, has successfully asserted itself in several court proceedings against former franchise and cooperation partners who challenged the legality of the contractual arrangement of the franchise and cooperation agreements.
