TIGGES partner and head of the Transportation & Logistics Competence Team Klaus-Peter Langenkamp recently became an accredited Incoterms® 2020 trainer. The accreditation was granted by the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and allows Klaus-Peter Langenkamp to train companies on the currently valid Incoterms® 2020.
The Incoterms® (International Commercial Terms) are pre-defined and internationally valid clauses, which were first developed by the ICC in 1936 and which merchants can use on a voluntary basis when concluding contracts in international trade. They regulate a number of areas associated with global trade, such as the allocation of responsibilities, transfer of risk and cost bearing. Choosing the right clause is therefore essential in international business!
