Christian Schon is a lecturer for commercial and corporate law at the University of Duisburg-Essen at the professorship for Private Business and employment law.

Christian Schon is member of the panel of experts at the German Business Angels Association (BAND). Furthermore, he was involved in the working group "syndication" of the German Standard Setting Institute (GESSI). GESSI is a joint project of the German Business Angels Association (BAND) as well as the German Startups Association (Startup-Verband) to develop balanced standard contract templates between investors and start-ups.

In addition, Christian Schon is involved as a mentor in the ZEBRA Accelerator Programme of the Startup Village Jülich of Brainergy Park Jülich GmbH and in Scale-up.NRW, a programme for the scaling and internationalization of top start-ups in NRW. Powered by digihub Düsseldorf/Rhineland and Start.2.

He is also a lecturer at the "Investement Mastercass" of the Startup Village Jülich of Brainergy Park Jülich GmbH.

Christian Schon studied law in Heidelberg with a focus on corporate and tax law. He then gained practical experience by working for an international commercial law firm and one of the Big Four auditing, legal and tax consulting firms.

Mr. Schon completed his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Wuppertal with stations at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Düsseldorf in the areas of law and taxes as well as in the areas of corporate law and M&A of a large international commercial law firm in Düsseldorf.

Before joining TIGGES, Mr. Schon worked for several years as an attorney in one of the Big Four law firms in the corporate and M&A sector.
