4th German–Polish Business Dialogue in North Rhine-Westphalia

.

In 2026, we are once again supporting the German–Polish Business Dialogue as a partner and are pleased to actively help shape this important forum for exchange between German and Polish companies. The event is hosted by the Essen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK zu Essen), the South Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Hagen (SIHK zu Hagen), and the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Polska), together with other committed partners.

The conference brings together decision-makers from both markets in a practical, dialogue-oriented format, with a focus on industries with significant growth potential—particularly energy security as well as security & defence. These sectors currently offer numerous opportunities for technological cooperation, investments, and sustainable business models.

Prior to the start of the conference, TIGGES partners Dr. Dominik Wagner, LL.M., EMBA and Tomasz Baron, LL.M., from our Poland Competence Team will provide interested entrepreneurs with a concise briefing session. This session will offer an overview of the key legal, tax, and financing-related framework conditions for market entry and business expansion in Germany.

19 February 2026 | 12:00–6:00 p.m. | Design Office at RuhrTower, Essen

More about the agenda:

The focus of the Business Dialogue is on current market and cooperation potential between Germany and Poland. Discussions will particularly address German–Polish energy cooperation as well as security and defence as economic factors—areas with substantial growth potential, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. Additional entrepreneurial perspectives will be provided in a fireside chat with Arndt G. Kirchhoff, offering further impulses from a business leader's point of view.

The day will be rounded off by the popular Speed Business Mixer followed by networking—ideal formats for targeted B2B discussions and the development of new partnerships.

We look forward to an intensive exchange and many new impulses for German–Polish cooperation.
