Area of Specialisation

Gisela Hebrant is part of the international team at TIGGES. She predominantly advises German and foreign companies on commercial and, in particular, administrative law. Here, she has experience in the area of public transport law, in particular railway law including railway regulation law, but also in road haulage law. She regularly advises clients on admission issues, licences, permits and safety certificates. She offers her support in disputes on infrastructure use conditions and charges and on official orders, ideally already in the hearing procedure.

She is also advising on environmental law issues such as packaging and waste law obligations. Before investing in land, she analyses the applicable regulations for building developments there, she examines building permits or rejection notices and assists in the conclusion of urban development contracts. In all of the above-mentioned areas, she also examines notices of fees, contributions and other charges.

Gisela Hebrant speaks several languages at a high level, has studied Polish law in addition to German law and is a Polish lawyer (Magister Prawa i Administracji).

  • Other Fields of Activity

    Gisela Hebrant also works internationally outside her attorney activity. Due to a three-year commitment in the framework of the development cooperation in Madagascar, Gisela Hebrant has a very close connection to the island nation. She gives presentations about Madagascar and assists several associations which are active in the framework of humanitarian aid in Madagascar. She remains connected with her country of birth, Sweden, as well as Poland, the country in which she studied, too, and for years has been involved here in various culturally-oriented consortia.

    Gisela Hebrant grew up in Stockholm. She studied in Germany and Poland and successfully completed both her German and also her Polish legal studies. She has been a German attorney since the end of 2006. Gisela Hebrant spent 2013 – 2016 in Madagascar, where she carried out various honorary activities, particularly in the education sector. Inter alia she was a representative of the Senior Expert Service with its headquarters in Bonn.

    Gisela Hebrant has completed the theoretical part of her training as a specialist lawyer in the field of administrative law.
