Sebastian Keilholz, LL.M., has worked at TIGGES Rechtsanwälte since 2013. A fundamental focus of his work is rendering private-law advice to German and foreign clients as well as litigation in civil-law matters. Another of Sebastian Keilholz's interest and advice focuses is press law, copyright law and competition law.
Sebastian Keilholz studied law at Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf. In parallel with his studies, he worked as a journalist for the daily newspaper "Rheinische Post". During his traineeship at the Regional Court of Düsseldorf, his interest in press law and copyright law led him inter alia into the legal department of a large publishing company. He deepened the knowledge acquired there in the framework of a postgraduate course with the focus on copyright and competition law, at whose end he acquired the qualification "Master of Laws" (LL.M.) in 2013. He wrote his master's thesis on the subject "Schutz von Presseerzeugnissen im Internet" (= Protection of press products on the Internet). Another of his traineeship posts led him to a commercial law firm in Cape Town (South Africa) for several months.
